As a kid growing up, the pages of National Geographic had such a profound impact on my future. I knew I wanted to become a widlife photographer. And I was fortunate to grow up within a family that started its own wildlife conservation program in Swaziland Southern Africa.

Over the years I learned the skills, developed my eye, acquired my photographic equipment. Unfortunately what I always struggled with was my patience. And wildlife photography requires incredible patience. Getting up long before sunrise, trekking through the veld to a hidden vantage point, and then the endless wait for that perfect moment, that may or may not happen.

Still I have been lucky to capture some very marketable images over the years, and on our recent trip to our family’s wildlife reserves, I was able to capture some new images that I would like to share here. Hope you like them
